LS-DYNA Compact: Joining Techniques in LS-DYNA
In many scenarios the failure prediction of a simulation strongly depends on the modeling of the used joining techniques. For typical connections like adhesive-bonding, welding, spot-welding or riveting special material models are available in LS-DYNA.
In this webinar an introduction into some of the most commonly used material models is presented. The theoretical background of these models is briefly addressed and an overview of the usage is given. The focus of the webinar lies as well on the application of the well introduced material models MAT_ARUP_ADHESIVE (MAT_169) for line and area shaped connections and MAT_SPOTWELD (MAT_100) for point shaped connections, as on the more recent innovations MAT_COHESIVE_MIXED_MODE_ELASTOPLASTIC_RATE (MAT_240) and CONSTRAINED_INTERPOLATION_SPOTWELD.
The webinar is designed for engineers with practical simulation experience who wish to broaden their knowledge in the field of connection simulations using LS-DYNA.
Courses are held from 9-11 a.m. (CET) on two consecutive days.
Please note: The course will be held in Ansys Learning Hub. We will send the credentials shortly before the training.
