Pedestrian Impactors
Several sets of pedestrian impactor models for the finite element code LS-DYNA are available. The models are distributed by DYNAmore in Germany, Italy, Austria, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, and neighboring countries.
Following you may find a short comparison of the head and leg form models developed by DPLP (a consortium of Daimler, Porsche, Lasso, and Peng), ARUP, LSTC, and FTSS. The human model THUMS developed by TOYOTA which is also used in pedestrian saftey is described at the following Link.
European and Japanese Headform Models
The head forms consists of a rigid sphere coated with a rubber hull. A triaxial accelerometer is fitted in the center of gravity.

Flexible Pedestrian Legform Model (Flex-PLI Regulated)
Flex-PLI hardware has undergone significant modifications since the GT version was introduced. The current design of the Flex-PLI hardware reflects meaningful and important changes to the earlier versions of the impactor. A completely new LS-DYNA model ( Flex PLI GTR Regulated) has now built, which represents the state-of-art regulated design of the Flex PLI GTR impactor. Current version is v1.0.1.
